Dynamics GP Payroll Tax Updates

Great news! The payroll tax updates for the second quarter have been released (again) and are available for immediate download. The updates are available for GP 9, GP 10 and GP 2010. All updates can be found in CustomerSource. Click here to review the documentation.

These updates are more than just your average update. Some of the changes include:

1. New capabilities for handling HIRE Act reporting requirements
2. 941 form changes
3. State change (Arizona)

As always, it is vital that you do the following steps prior to installing any update:

1. Back up your GP databases, including DYNAMICS
2. Back up any modified or custom forms and reports
3. Schedule the update for a time when you can have users out of the system while it is being updated. A user will not be able to log into GP until his machine has been updated.
